About Sami Pierce, Level 3 Lagree Master Trainer
Sami Pierce (born Sami Smith) is a Level 3 Lagree Master Trainer and Co-Owner of Viva Lagree, a women-owned Lagree studio with locations in Farmington and Layton, Utah. She took her first Lagree class in 2017, certified in 2018, and trained under Lagree founder Sebastien Lagree. Her career rests on one conviction: the words spoken inside a studio shape the experience of every client who walks in.
How did a hairstylist become a Lagree Master Trainer?
Before fitness, Sami spent years behind a salon chair. That work taught her to read a room, hold attention, and make a person feel seen within the first minute. She built those skills through practice, client after client. When she started teaching Lagree, she noticed the same skills decided which instructors filled their classes, and she started teaching those skills to others.

Sami is known for the psychology of coaching language. She helps instructors move past generic cueing toward words that create connection, without handing anyone a script. Viva Lagree is the women-owned Lagree studio Sami co-owns in northern Utah, with locations at 820 Shepard Ln in Farmington and 155 South Main St, Unit 101 in Layton. Everything she teaches other instructors gets tested there first, in real classes with real clients.
Beyond the studio
Sami is a boy mom and a military spouse, building a business around family life and frequent moves. She knows what it means to need a 45-minute window that delivers. That is why she teaches that every minute on the mic has to count.
